The Titans will have a major event planned to happen in downtown Nashville on April 4, for the unveiling of the team’s new uniform. On Monday after the NFL owners meetings, Amy Adams Strunk-the Titans owner, deliberated on the new threads. However, she was cautious about giving many clues.
The Titans have some new players and a new head coach, and the team is coming off its first playoff win in the last 14 years. However, the team’s new uniform is the hottest topic.
On Monday after the NFL owners meetings, Amy Adams Strunk said she always gets asked about the new uniform. Jon Robinson, Titans general manager also said he had been asked about the uniform a million times. Robinson and Strunk have their answers ready as the reveal date (April 4) draws closer.
Robinson has said that he hasn’t even told his family about the new uniform. He insists that nobody has seen it. He goes on to say that Amy has put plenty of work into the uniforms, and she will be excited about the team uniform unveiling.
Robinson confirmed that he was not going to be the one to leak out the information.
A very special program has been organized in downtown Nashville for Wednesday, April 4. The event will start at 7:30 p.m. on Broadway with the Nissan Stadium
serving as a backdrop.
This is where former, current players and other members of the entire organization, will showcase the new uniform. Florida Georgia Line is set to perform a concert after the unveiling.
In the past weeks, the team has provided teasers that lead up to the big day. Strunk has also been in the hype, having appeared in a video along with tackle Taylor Lewan, who jokingly said the uniforms had a pink color in them.
Strunk discussed the uniforms this Monday. However, she was careful about revealing any clues.
Strunk said that not even her friends could tell how the uniforms look like and that the uniform revealing is the fun part. She went on to say that some will say “I love them” while others will oppose the new look.
What’s to stand out?
Robinson predicted that fans would like the new uniforms. He found it funny that some fans were keen on his wardrobe for any hints on the team’s new uniform. They looked at what he was wearing, i.e., his hat for a tip on anything.
However, Strunk provided a clue. She said that some of the uniform elements were specific to the Tennessee state.
She insisted that team fans will be proud of what they will see and that they would honor the Tennessee state.
Besides Robinson and Strunk, Mike Vrabel- Titans head coach, as well as some players are due to be part of Wednesday’s event.
There will be a pre-show entertainment before the start of the program, and several fireworks after the concert. Streets will also be blocked in areas where the event will take place. The event will be open to the public, and it will be free of charge.
The Titans team will be beginning their 20th season this 2018.
Strunk emphasized that it was going to be fun because in everything she does she always keeps her fans in mind.
